Mula Apari, Hanggang Jolo, roughly translate as from the northern most point down to the farthest south of the Philippines, literally Eat Bulaga can claim its reach.
Eat Bulaga! perhaps the greatest noon-time variety show in the Philippines. Even the greatest show of any kind, period. It is a daily program (Monday to Saturday at least) produced by Television And Production Exponents Inc. It was first aired in July of 1979.
It has aired in three Channels or networks, currently aired by GMA Network, and has spawned plenty of stars, spin offs, expressions, trends, that has become part of Philippine Mythos and Pop Culture.
The Philippines culturally has been fond of anything hodge podge, as long as it tastes good. Halo halo being one of the classic example. Eat Bulaga is exactly the same, a little bit of everything, but with a great taste.
